This foundation specializes in producing orthotic and prosthetic devices to assist individuals with disabilities, an area currently experiencing significant shortages of funds and qualified personnel within Thailand.

The Thanachart Drive DD application is designed to assess risky driving behaviors.

The development of this application stems from the objective to reduce road accidents, primarily caused by:

• Using a mobile phone while driving
• Driving at excessive speeds
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs

Based on survey data highlighting these issues, the app was created to monitor dangerous driving behaviors through three key features:

1. Detection of mobile phone usage during driving
2. Monitoring of driving patterns such as speed, turns, and sudden braking
3. Assessment of reflexes and decision-making ability under the influence of substances

To promote awareness and encourage behavioral change towards safer driving practices, Thanachart Insurance has launched the “Drive Less (Speed), Abstain (Drink), Put Down (Phone)” campaign. This initiative combines the app’s special features with charitable activities, inviting everyone to download the application and participate in fostering safer roads.
